Easing out makes an object eases to a stop at the end of a motion tween. 100 is the highest value for that.

How do you motion tween color?
keyframe two different tints and make a tween

If you wanted a symbol to animate along a path, what would you add and where?

a motion path. I would add it to layer of the object i wanted to move and I keyframe and and drag the object at the beginning and end of the path.
